PrescriberPRO Peer2Peer
PrescriberPRO Peer2Peer delivers a file containing a batch of records each time it is executed. These records are sent to the healthcare marketing organization’s file server as either an XML or a CSV file. This product relies on a third-party agent from Pervasive Software Inc. One of these agents is installed on the HDS host server while the other is installed on the client’s file server. Once a user account is established, the healthcare marketing organization’s agent calls the HDS host on either a scheduled or an on-demand basis. Every time one of these calls is placed, the HDS host server checks to determine when the last update occurred. Then it returns only those records that contain any updates, additions or deletions since the last update was made, leaving your healthcare marketing or prescriber validation database with the most current and accurate information available.
PrescriberPRO P2P LiveView
PrescriberPRO LiveView is a standalone product that runs in an Internet Explorer browser on the customer’s computer. This application calls the same Pervasive Software agent and database as the PrescriberPro Peer2Peer. This search tool features a user interface that allows the user to input a number of parameters for a provider or a practice location. The search engine utilizes fuzzy logic, wildcards and nicknames to return a list of healthcare providers or medical practices. The user then selects one of these to drill down to see a detailed prescriber data card from which relevant contact, practice and medical license validation information can be pulled. On the provider detail screen, a list of all other practices and hospitals is presented. The user can then switch back and forth between related practices and providers. The practice detail screen presents a list of all providers associated with that practice, allowing a similar click-through experience.
PrescriberPRO Portal
PrescriberPRO Portal is a business-to-business Web service that allows the healthcare marketing organization’s database application to create an XML request and send it off to the HDS host server without any human intervention. The XML request is translated into a database query and the resulting healthcare marketing information dataset is translated into an XML response and then sent back to the client’s application.
