PrescriberPRO Peer2Peer
PrescriberPRO Peer2Peer delivers a file containing a batch of records each time it is executed. These records are sent to the client’s file server as an XML or Comma Separated Value (CSV) file. This product relies on a product (agent) from Pervasive Software Inc. One of these agents is installed on the HDS Host server, the other is installed on the client’s file server. Once a user account is established, the client’s agent ‘calls’ the HDS host on a scheduled or ‘on-demand’ basis. Every time one of these calls is invoked, the HDS host server checks to determine when the last update occurred. Then it returns just those records that contain any updates, additions or deletions since the last update was made.
PrescriberPRO P2P LiveView
PrescriberPRO LiveView is a standalone product that runs in an Internet Explorer browser on the customer’s computer. This application calls the same Pervasive Agent and database as the Prescriber Pro P2P. This search tool has a User Interface (UI) that allows the user to input a number of parameters for a Provider (Prescriber) or a Practice (Office Location). The search engine utilizes fuzzy match logic, wildcards and nicknames to return a list of providers or practices. The user then selects one of these to drill-down to see further details. On the provider detail screen a list of all other practices and all hospitals is presented. The user can then switch back and forth between related practices and providers. The practice detail screen similarly presents a list of all providers associated with that practice allowing a similar same click-through experience.
PrescriberPRO Portal
PrescriberPRO Portal is a Business to Business (B2B) web service that allows the client’s application to create an XML request and send it off to the HDS host server without any human intervention or user interface.. The XML request is translated into a database query and the result set is translated into an XML response and then sent back to the client’s application.
